There is something very
powerful about coming together as the community of faith on the first evening of Lent. Here in God's house, we stop
what we are doing and give ourselves over to the realization that He has called us to be His own and that we need His
guidance for our life's journey. So it is that we will worship the Lord on Wednesday, February 17, at 7:00 p.m.
and begin the holy season of Lent with His mercy and love.

The Bible 101 Adult Sunday School is starting the journey of deepening their prayer life through a
12-week study of The Lord's Prayer. They invite you to join them as they reflection upon the very words that

New Adult Sunday School
Series
Has just started!
The
Standing Stones Sunday School Class has begun a new series titled "The Jesus I Never Knew" written by
Philip Yancey. This journey will lead you beyond familiar images of Christ to discover Jesus as you've never
known him. Joe Weaver is the facilitator for the class which meets on Sundays at 9:45 a.m. in room 108.
Newcomers are warmly welcomed.
