Ministerial Education Fund

Established in 1968, the Ministerial Education Fund provides educational support for United Methodist ordained elders and deacons as well as diaconal ministers.  The Fund makes possible vitally needed scholarships through annual conferences.  It also generates essential funds for the support of our 13 United Methodist seminaries in the United States.  The Ministerial Education Fund also developes programs that encourage men and women to respond to the call to ordained ministry, helps with continuing-education opportunities for pastors across the United Methoidst connection.  This fun also provides assistance for the "course-of-study" (required for local pastors).
