PAST STUDIES:

Spring 2011: Bible 201 class presents a six-week video series by Dr. Timothy Keller titled The Prodigal God-Finding Your Place at the Table.  The series will began on Sunday, March 13, at 9:50 a.m. in Room 108.  Dr. Keller opens your eyes to the powerful message of Jesus' best-known and least understood parable:  The Parable of the Prodigal Son. 

Fall 2010:
The six week study "Becoming a Good Samaritan" written by John Ortberg.  Each session explored issues such as poverty, social injustice, the environment with the intent to help us make a personal, street-level impact today.

Spring 2010:A series by Philip Yancey “What's so Amazing About Grace?.”
A better understanding of what grace is and why it is so precious.  How do we integrate it into your life?

Winder 2009-10: The series entitled “The Jesus I Never Knew” written by Philip Yancey.  This journey leads you beyond familiar images of Christ to discover Jesus as you've never known him.

Fall 2009: A thought provoking six-week series on The Life You've Always Wanted based on John Ortberg's book by the same name.

Spring 2009: “If You Want to Walk on Water, You've Got to Get Out of the Boat.” is from the book by John Ortberg. This exciting series is based on learning to trust God.

Later part of 2008: The video series Faith Lessons on the Promised Land.

March-May 2008: The class continue the powerful video series on the Death and Resurrection of the Messiah that generated a lot of reflection and spiritual growth.

February 2008: Continued the video series; the focus was, "The Life and Ministry of the Messiah."

January 2008: This class began using a new faith discovery series - Faith Lessons on the Promised Land.  Filmed on location in Israel, this unique video series brings God's Word to life with astounding relevance.

During the later part of 2007 the group viewed and discussed the Jesus of Nazareth Video series.  Prior to that, the class studied the Apostle Paul's letter to the church at Rome, otherwise known to us as The Book of Romans in the New Testament).
