Festival of Sharing
October 15, 2011

The third Saturday of October is the day that people of faith, from many different denominations all over the state, gather at the Missouri State Fairgrounds in Sedalia.  The groups and families bring money that has been raised and "kits" that have been assembled during the year.  The Festival of Sharing is now in its 30th year and generates approximately $1 million annually.  The interfaith event is an expression of mission support and involvement that has helped improve the lives of countless individuals in Missouri and around the world.

The Wesley United Methodist Women have chosen “Paper Products Pack for Missourians ” as their sponsored "kit" to support Missourianswho have experienced a crisis, natural disaster or struggle with poverty. Anyone who would like to donate items of the kit may do so between now and Wednesday, October 12.

Collection boxes have been placed in the fellowship hall at the church. Paper Products Packs include the following items:

  • Toilet Tissue (4 double rolls)
  • Paper Towels (good quality)
  • Facial Tissue (large rectangular boxes)
