Save Labels for Henderson Settlement For many years Henderson Settlement has benefited from the efforts of many church groups, civic organizations and individuals who have collected Campbell soup labels. Beginning in 2006, the Campbell's Company changed the rules so that now we NO LONGER have to send in the labels, cut to a specific size, bundled in batches of 100. Volunteers are no longer needed to count labels, put them in correct piles, count lids, etc. The previous label collection process is being switched to a BAR CODE LABEL process where the labels can be read by machine. This provides a cost savings for Campbell's and lot of saved time for volunteers who collect and prepare the labels to send to Campbell. Remember, we still need your support collecting these bar codes. Please know that any of the bar codes in any quantity are needed and APPRECIATED! Through your efforts we will be able to take children on field trips, seniors to medical appointments, grocery shopping and a host of other places that would otherwise be unavailable. Eligible Product List Several new items have been added such as: BIC pens and pencils, POST cereals, Wolfgang Puck soups and Pop Secret popcorn. The documents below describe the products currently eligible for collection and how to prepare the bar codes. For V8 products save the cap.
Bring your Labels to Church Please put your bar codes and caps in the envelope on the Mission Team bulletin board outside the Library. |
