Contemporary Liturgical Dance Group

Calling all little girl dancers between the ages of 5 and 12 years!  We need you to join us in the praise activity of liturgical dance.  Our group will be meeting for practices on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. beginning on September 15.  In order for this group of dancers to be successful this year, we would like to implement a few guidelines to help each family determine their child's availability for practices and performance.

We will practice each dance 3-4 times before presenting it for worship. It is important, therefore, that all dancers attend each practice. (One excused absence per dance will be allowed.)  However, we ask that all girls be in attendance during our dress rehearsal since we put the finishing touches on our dance then.  This will ensure we know exactly who to expect for performances.

This is such a fun ministry and the people of Wesley are lifted in Spirit when these young ladies dance.  We hope that all eligible girls will find time in their busy schedules to participate and bring the joy of praise through liturgical dance to our congregation's worship!
