The Sonshine U.M.W. Circle

As their name implies, the women of the Sonshine Circle know that we are called to let the Son of God shine in and through us.  It is not surprising then, that Bible study and local mission projects are important components for this group.  Indeed, shortly after organizing their circle, this group of women got to work organizing an effort within the church to provide “Birthday Kits” for children of underprivileged families.

The Sonshine Circle continues its ministry of service in a variety of ways: visiting with and serving meals with the residents at the Agape House, donating paper towels, toilet tissue, facial tissues, diapers, napkins, paper plates, hot cups and cold cups to the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center.

The Sonshine women are also interested in learning more about the world around them.  So, their meetings often include special interest programs.
