To expand on the topics addressed in Pastor Tom's sermon series "A Matter of Life and Death", during the Sunday School hour (9:45 a.m.) we are taking this opportunity to bring in speakers with specific knowledge concerning some of the more practical aspects of preparing for death.

The OPUS Sunday School class (room 116) has graciously agreed to host the following speakers the last four Sundays in September:

Sept. 9th - Arnold Parks will be sharing his funeral directing experience and introducing the "Help and Guidance" form that will be handed out that Sunday.
Sept. 16th - Speaker Lindsey Rowden, Family Care Specialist from Freeman Mortuary
Sept. 23rd - Lawyer, Jeff Green will talk about normal people's estate planning.
Sept. 30 - Tammy Kanatzar, a chaplain from Capital Region Medical Center will talk about health directives

Our hope is to help the people here at Wesley UMC start a conversation with their families about this often ignored topic.
